New decade, new look: HD Expo refreshes branding

Leading North American hospitality design trade show updates look and launches new website ahead of 2020 show registration

 

ALPHARETTA, Ga. (January 3, 2020) — HD Expo + Conference, the leading hospitality design trade show in North America, returning to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas from May 5-7, 2020, has revealed a new look and an updated website just in time for the opening of the show’s registration. The refreshed branding, inspired by the show’s dynamic personality, features a clean, contemporary font highlighted by bright and bold colors.

 

The rebrand aligns heavily with the show’s associated publication, Hospitality Design magazine, a premier trade outlet that covers the latest in hospitality interior interiors, including trends, product and project features, and interviews with industry thought leaders.

 

“It was important for the show’s new branding to be closely connected to Hospitality Design magazine’s look and feel,” said Stacey Shoemaker Rauen, Senior Vice President of Emerald’s Design Group and Editor in Chief of Hospitality Design. “While the new logo supports the overall appearance of the magazine, it still maintains its own distinctive identity through color and treatment.”

 

A key component of the rebranding is the show’s + Conference sessions, which will be even more convenient to attend in 2020 with the all-new HD Theater, a dedicated enclosed space built-out directly on the show floor. The full three-day conference schedule will consist of thought-provoking sessions and panel discussions, most of which are CEU/LU accredited.

 

“With the addition of + Conference, we’re presenting HD Expo as a 360° event for hospitality design. The show exists not only for new product exploration, but also for exclusive networking and educational opportunities,” added Shoemaker Rauen.

 

HD Expo’s new look comes with a newly designed website at www.hdexpo.com. The modernized design and layout will allow users to conveniently navigate the site with several new features, including a digital pressroom where exhibiting brands are able to upload their press materials directly to the website.
